1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ScapeAI website (scapeai.in), placing a booking, or using any of our services including the Plant Doctor tool and care plan subscriptions, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
ScapeAI provides the following services through its website and mobile app:
- Garden Design — AI-generated personalised garden plans based on your space details and preferences.
- Garden Installation — on-site installation by a verified mali partner, including plant supply and layout.
- Monthly Care Plans — recurring garden maintenance visits by a mali on a scheduled cycle.
- Plant Doctor — AI-powered plant identification and disease diagnosis via photo upload.
All services are currently available in Vadodara, Gujarat only. We reserve the right to expand or restrict service areas at any time.
3. Bookings & Payments
When you place a booking on ScapeAI:
- You must provide accurate contact details (name, phone number, address) to enable us to assign a mali and confirm your visit.
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment. A booking reference number will be sent to your registered phone number.
- All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. ScapeAI does not store your card or banking credentials.
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- A token advance of ₹499 secures your installation booking slot. The remaining balance is due at the time of installation or as otherwise specified at checkout.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Token advance (₹499):
- Non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled installation date.
- Refundable in full if you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled date, or if we are unable to assign a mali.
Full-amount bookings:
- Covered by our 30-Day Plant Guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of installation, we will rectify the issue or issue a refund at our discretion.
If ScapeAI cancels:
- If we cancel your booking for any reason (including inability to find an available mali), you will receive a full refund of any amount paid, processed within 5–7 business days.
To request a cancellation or refund, contact us at info@scapeai.in with your booking reference number.
5. Care Plan Subscriptions
Care plans are recurring maintenance packages billed per cycle. By subscribing to a care plan:
- You authorise ScapeAI to schedule visits on your behalf at the frequency defined by your chosen plan (basic, standard, or premium).
- Visits are scheduled on approximate intervals and may vary by ±2 days depending on mali availability and weather conditions.
- If you need to reschedule a visit, notify us at least 24 hours in advance via phone or email.
- Missed visits due to customer unavailability without 24-hour notice will be counted as completed for billing purposes.
- Care plan renewals are not automatic. You will be contacted before your cycle ends to renew.
- ScapeAI reserves the right to adjust care plan pricing for new cycles with 14 days' prior notice.
6. AI Tools & Recommendations
ScapeAI uses artificial intelligence to generate garden plans and plant diagnoses. By using these features:
- You understand that AI-generated garden designs and Plant Doctor diagnoses are advisory only and do not constitute professional horticultural or agricultural advice.
- ScapeAI does not guarantee that AI recommendations will be suitable for your specific soil, climate, or plant conditions.
- You are responsible for verifying AI suggestions before acting on them, especially for plant treatments, pesticides, or structural garden changes.
- Photos you upload for AI analysis are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. They are not stored permanently by ScapeAI after analysis is complete.
ScapeAI shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or plant death resulting from following AI-generated recommendations.
7. Reviews & User Content
You may submit a review of ScapeAI's services through the website or app. By submitting a review:
- You confirm the review is based on your genuine experience with ScapeAI.
- You grant ScapeAI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote your review on the website, app, and marketing materials.
- Reviews are submitted as pending and are visible on the website only after admin approval.
- ScapeAI reserves the right to reject or remove reviews that contain offensive language, false information, or content unrelated to our services.
- You must not submit reviews on behalf of other people or post fake reviews.
8. Mali Partners
Malis (garden professionals) who carry out installations and care visits are independent contractors, not employees of ScapeAI. ScapeAI coordinates and dispatches verified mali partners to fulfil customer orders.
- ScapeAI verifies mali identity and experience before onboarding, but does not supervise their day-to-day work.
- ScapeAI is not liable for any damage to property caused by a mali during a visit, beyond the remedies described in our guarantee.
- If you have a complaint about a mali's conduct or quality of work, report it to info@scapeai.in within 48 hours of the visit. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include reassigning your mali.
9. 30-Day Plant Guarantee
ScapeAI offers a 30-day guarantee on plants supplied as part of a full installation booking:
- If any installed plant dies within 30 days of installation due to reasons attributable to the plant quality or installation method, we will replace it at no charge.
- The guarantee does not cover plant death due to customer neglect, overwatering, underwatering, pest infestation, or extreme weather events after installation.
- To claim the guarantee, send a photo of the affected plant with your booking reference to info@scapeai.in within the 30-day window.
- The guarantee applies once per plant per booking. Replacements are not themselves guaranteed.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
- ScapeAI's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking or service giving rise to the claim.
- ScapeAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of plants, loss of income, or damage to property beyond the value of the service booked.
- ScapeAI makes no warranty that the website will be available without interruption or error, or that AI tools will be accurate or complete.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on scapeai.in — including text, images, logos, AI-generated garden plans, and design assets — is the intellectual property of ScapeAI unless otherwise stated.
- You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written permission.
- AI garden plans generated for your booking are licensed to you for personal use only. They may not be resold or used for commercial projects.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of ScapeAI's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
